Feingold/Ryan unveil earmark veto plan
A little Wisconsin bipartisanship at work right here. Feingold and Ryan unveiled their plan to allow for Obama to cut "embarrassing" pork today.

The earmarks in the stimulus bill make up about 2% of the bill. As was proven in one of our first classes, the definition of "pork," or earmarks as they are being called is hard to pin down. Sometimes, it seems as though Wisconsin gets the short end of the stick when it comes to some of these earmarks. Maybe instead of figuring out a way to get rid of them completely from the bill, Senator Feingold and Congressman Ryan should worry about bringing a few more earmarks for our state.
