Republicans Aim at Democrats with a similar strategy

I am really annoyed by a constant barrage of emails soliciting campaign contributions. You make a donation to a candidate once and they email you every other week asking for more. They sell your email adress to another group with similar interests. They ask for money and this cycle repeats itself until you are getting multiple emails every day from rich people begging.
The opponents see how effective this is and now they need to replicate the opposition's results by setting up the exact same structure.
I am suffering from donor fatigue. Every time I get an email from a fundraiser I just click delete. I don't have the time or interest to read solicitations for donations every day, so the oversaturation ruins the whole process which first led me to want to contribute.
I am sure I am not alone. Individuals are sick of being constantly asked to send their hard earned money for a service they do not see the benefits of.
Just reading this article only further upsets me.
Karl Rove is setting up a framework of top republican operatives and communcation experts to have an overlapping umbrella to advance Republican causes. Then they have support staff consisting of many republican top echelon talent and washed up overpriced ex-politicians. These guys are rich and do not do it for free. They need office space, phones, and computers to do this work. How the hell much money do they need to raise before they start to break even after paying salaries, utilities, and rent?
What reall pi$$e$ me off is this group is supposed to be the one arguing against bueracracy and big government!
Maybe it is time to start considering publicly funded elections.
