Excellent interview. Rahm Emanuel is quite a character. I find him a very unique holder of chief of staff. I was surprised that he opted to take the job in the first place. Rumor had it, he was a shoe-in for the Speakership after Pelosi. This was certainly interesting to hear his take, and the stories told be Axlerod about their personal past. I've heard many stories about his bad temper (stabbing a streak knife in a dinner table saying "you're dead" after a colleague betrayed him in the Clinton era) and having such a voice with such ambition is unique for his position.

I suppose we have to wait and see if he pulls a Henry Clay and goes back to the House to become Speaker after having left.
