Lincoln ranked best president by historians
I know this doesn't deal with Congress, but I couldn't resist it. Our beloved Former President (sarcasm mine) was rated 36 out of 42 of the worst Presidents ever. I know that must be shocking to everyone! Well now he can go back to his ranch in Crawford and play cowboy, maybe he can get that right! yi-pi-yi-ay, ride 'em cowboy!

1. No, this do not deal with Congress
2. He just left office, it is difficult to say what his policies have really done. Especially since it is still too soon to dictate what Clinton has done.
3. This is just another random poll based on statistics, and statistics can be made to make any look as good/bad as they want them to be.
4. This poll has Truman as one of the top five where I have seen him in the bottom five in other polls.
5. The man is no longer in office, so what is the point of still ripping on him, are there not bigger issues to deal with in today's society??
Dear TRK,
The reason many of us continue to rip on Bush Jr is that, frankly, many believe that he caused serious long term damage. It is true that time alone will determine his place in history, however many of us are very bitter about 8 years of our president denigrating our constitution, commencing a senseless war, spying on citizens without warrants, instituting policies that led to our economy take a nosedive into quicksand, and responding solely to corporate interests. You must excuse us liberals for being bitter, we had a very rough 8 years. Though justifying one's behavior by comparison is, admittedly, a lowly justification, conservatives are still wallowing about how horrendous FDR was (and need I even bring up the singularly evil Clinton family?).
