This is a class blog for the students of POLSCI 426: Congressional Politics at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.

Only 31 days

I have something to point out!
Take a look at a picture of President Obama during his campaign, then look at this clip.
Look at President Obama's gray hair, when did that get there?
If becoming the President of the United States age you as such, that is a position I do not want.
31 days as President has aged him mighty quickly.
Now, note all things in the media, just from today, now gather all issues dealing with President Obama and the Obama Administration.

Simple question?

If you became the President of the United States how would you handle the pressure, and prevent it from effecting your appearance?

I'll eat through the pressure and play basketball for exercise. I pass!

Haha well, maybe this is due to the fact the ALL of the Presidents so far have been men. I think that if there would be a female president (although I can only really speak for myself), that she (I) would just hair dye and maybe a little something called botox for those age lines! Haven't any of these guys heard of Just For Men??? That's a simple and relatively inexpensive solution to the grey hair problem.

Maybe its intentional. Maybe he kept dyeing his hair black during the campaign to give off the look of the youth movement storming the White House. Now that he occupies said house, he is expected to look like somebody we can confide in, a fatherly figure if you will (America is still very paternalistic, after all) so now he stops dyeing his hair to suit his new expectations. Beyond that, I have to imagine that being president does, in fact, age you much quicker than normal.
