Senate Passes DC voting law
The bill passed, but takes away DC's ability to control guns. In one of the least safe cities in the US making guns even more easily available seems devastating.

Criminals get guns no matter what. DC, if you want to consider it a state, is one of three that have gun bans and/or concealed carry laws. Guns do not kill people, it is people who use guns that kill people. As stated criminals will get them no matter what is done about them. They get them now and use them. The other 48 states that have do not have gun bans seem to be doing just fine by allowing the general public to carry guns if they wish to do so.
