Campaign funding used for personal expenses
It seems Odonnell has used some of her campaign finacing to fund herself rather then her campaign. She supposdeldy used $20,000 on personal expenses. So now an independent group is going after her for breaking the rules, it will be interesting to see how this will hinder her bid for election.

CNN WOULD post something based on allegations and not facts. Granted O'D is one of the last people I would want running my state, still, it's good to see people digging up dirt! Gotta love partisan political banter!
Here's another CNN page...
http://articles.cnn.com/2010-07-19/politics/tea.party.express_1_tea-party-express-fourth-term-primary-challenger?_s=PM:POLITICS
Right in the middle of the page there's a Stop Christine O'Donnell link, which handily sends you directly to Chris Coon's smear of O'Donnell. Way to be fair CNN!
they removed the link.
If these allegations are true, I find it funny that a woman who hasn't really put in her time is already taking money from the party. A rather attractive woman when it comes to politics at that. I also thought it was rather amusing that they had to put in she is single and childless. Have to love politics.
I do appreciate the role the media plays in keeping our politicians (and potential politicians) on their toes. Perhaps this is an unplanned mechanism by which we keep our political system polarized, and in turn, maintain national political stability. As frustrating as it is to see our news media (for example FOX or MSNBC) playing their games, perhaps we benefit from the balance they maintain?
I never actually thought of it that way Matt. In a sense your right MSNBC and FOX do create a balanced America by filling it with liberals and conservatives and continuously feeding them their ideological desires. If there was only one ideologically based news media outlet America would be unbalanced with either a large liberal base or large conservative base.
I always found these allegations very suspicious. These were first made by the ex-campaign manager. The keyword there is ex, so she is probably very much bitter about being the ex, and not the current.
