Good ad. Nice and simple.
Is Ron Johnson correct in this ad? If you apply his definition of 'manufacturer' (i.e. owner/employee of manufacturing facility) to the rest of the Senate, are there no manufacturers?
Is it possible to save manufacturing (as in low-skilled manufacturing jobs) in the upper Midwest? In the U.S.?
Is it a bad thing for lawmakers to study law?
These are the type of questions you may want to ask when observing ads. What are the assumptions the ad makes, are they correct, is there missing/misleading information, do the conclusions follow from the premises, etc.?
I was shocked at this ad too. 57 lawyers in a Senate was eye opening. How representative of our people is the Senate if 57% of our Senators are lawyers? I also like the one where Johnson is in his factory, I thought it really showed him as a person.
