I seriously hope that after reading the commentary and his explanation that he really doesn't think the island will tip over. He explained that the island might be too heavily populated on one end and that would destroy the economy on the other end. I also listened to his comments and he never says that he is using a methaphor or hand quotes or anything that would suggest this was an analogy. I would think that he thinks noone could possibly think that he thinks the island will capsize, becuase noone could really be that stupid. I hope anyway. I realize the commander thought he was being serious and actually responded to the question as if it was really what Johnson was concerned about.
