A Vote Some Dems Might Regret

Political scientists Steven Greene and Seth Masket find that Democratic members of the House who represent conservative districts and voted for healthcare reform are taking about a 3% point hit in their quest for reelection.

Interesting that in a state where public polling seems to indicate a slight majority of people who oppose the new health care bill that Feingold still stands behind it and is indeed campaigning on it.

As a moral issue i think most ppl agree providing affordable coverage to everyone is the right thing to do, but the fiscal responsibility of the bill is what it think is in question...sustainability seems to be the catchphrase

will it cut escalating Health Care costs? i guess will see, but more relevant to the near future is whether or not Feingold's support of the bill might, to some degree, cost him his senate seat
