This is a class blog for the students of POLSCI 426: Congressional Politics at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
Senator Lincoln Gets a Democratic Challenger
This will be a tell tail race, if he loses to his own parties challenger. This also could turn out to be in the Republicans favor, let the Dem/s fight it out, and then target the voters as the only Viable candidate

Lt. Gov Halter has the support of the online "netroots" community.
In fact the day he announced he received over $600,000 in online contributions.
It should be an interesting race to watch, as Sen. Lincoln, despite her having been in Arkansas politics for so long is deeply unpopular.
Some would say that is because of her having a D behind her name, yet almost all statewide elected officials in Arkansas are Democrats, in fact it appears that Gov. Mike Beebe is going to cruise to re-election.
Is she unpopular because of her party identification, or is she trying to appease voters all across ideological spectrum coming back to bite her?
