Wall Vs Feingold opening shot
Right here in our own state we have a snapshot of the political proccess. Out of the box, before "issues" are even brought up, the opening shot is a negative ad. However it does indicate how easy it is to chalange the incombent.

I think that Wall vs Feingold will never happen because someone more qualified will have to run because Feingold would destroy Terrance Wall. Feingold, wether you agree or disagree with him is very astute politically, and would destroy Terrance Wall in a debate. I also think that Republicans should convince Mark Neumann who is running for governor for reasons only he understands, to run in the senate race instead.
This article also mentions Feingold's listening sessions,in which many people in attendance have been overtly hostile to Feingold. I will give him credit for still attending in counties that are generally not supportive of his policies. I also think Paul Ryan's vote to bailout auto industries was purely because his district relies heavily on the auto industry and his voting block would kill him politically if he didn't.
