What's in a name??

On Headline News yesterday night, there was apparently a controversy over Obama's middle name, which is Hussein. Which is the same as Sadam Hussein. Such controversy over a name?? There was also an issue that his name some how rhymed with Osama Bin Ladin's. Now, are we electing him on what his name is or his issues and what he believes in?

It is crazy how this can stir up dirty politics. It was good to see this morning that the RNC stated that attacks on Obama's name should not be used. This election should focus on issues, not names...

I definetley agree that we need to stop focusing on issues besides candidates reasons why they are running. Clearly Obama's middle name is not going to have any affect on how he runs our country if he is elected president.

Why is stating someone's middle name an insult? Is he ashamed of his name? I have no middle name but if I did would not have an issue if people wanted to use it. But I agree that we should focus more on issues instead of letting Obama win so easliy.

It's not an insult to state his middle name. It is, however, insulting to shamelessly attempt to use his middle name to imply that he is a terrorist, which is what happened.
